Binance alternatives
Ranked by the reason you are leaving. Every list below is computed from the same published sub-scores as the rest of the site, with Binance removed.
Almost nobody leaves Binance over fees or liquidity — it wins both. People look for a Binance alternative for one of three reasons: they live in the United States and cannot open an account at all (Binance.US is a separate, thinner company); they are uneasy holding funds at a venue that settled with US authorities in 2023 and is operating under a monitorship; or they simply want a smaller interface than a platform that ships spot, margin, perps, options, earn, copy trading and P2P inside one app.
The trade-off is not symmetric. Any venue you move to will have shallower order books, so on a large market order you will pay more in slippage than you save on the fee line. That is fine for a buy-and-hold user and for anyone trading the top twenty pairs. It matters for a size trader in mid-cap altcoins, who should think twice before moving.

When you should stay on Binance
You trade actively in altcoins or perps, you are not a US resident, and you are already comfortable with the interface. On those terms Binance remains the cheapest deep venue in the market and no alternative improves your fills.
Frequently asked questions
What is the closest thing to Binance for a US resident?
The US shortlist above is computed from the exchanges that actually serve US residents, ranked on our overall weighting. Binance.US exists but has a fraction of the pairs and liquidity of Binance.com and we treat it as a separate product.
Is any alternative cheaper than Binance?
At the entry tier, MEXC quotes lower headline rates and OKX matches on the maker side, but Binance with the BNB discount at 0.075% is cheaper than most and its deeper books usually save more in slippage than the fee difference. Use the fee calculator with your real trade size before you decide.
Why does the shortlist change between sections?
Each section runs the ranking engine with a different published weight profile and, where relevant, a country filter. The same exchange can rank first for one reason and fourth for another; we show that rather than flattening it into one list.
